What’s new?

Hello!  I am NOT pregnant.  Boo!  I just posted my last chart and am currently suffering through AF so yeah, there’s that.  I already had my big cry about it, and now it’s time to move on.

So what’s new?  First on Babies Everywhere, I’ve updated the Supplements and Charts tabs.  Please take a look if you feel so inclined.

In my daily life, I’ve decided to add seed cycling to the mix.  If you don’t know what seed cycling is you can read about it here.  Don’t worry it’s not gross.  I like seeds, so this one is easy for me.

Next, in 6 days I’ll be finished with the calcium horse pills and move to the liquid.  At that time, I’ll give you an update.

Also, on the supplement front I have been taking Ubiquinol instead of CoQ10.  If you’re under 35 maybe CoQ10 is better for you, but since I’ll be celebrating my 37th this year (hopefully celebrating pregnant) I decided to switch.  You can read about why here.

Finally, this is my first cycle on B6 200mg.  In conjunction with my prenatal this gives me 225mg of B6.  This is where I stop because more than 250mg of B6 can cause nerve damage.

What else is new?  The clinic where my husband had his SA told him they can do artificial insemination (basically this is an IUI but they could shoot the sperm into other places besides the uterus).  Right now we want to try the natural way, however, we have that on the back burner if need be.  I didn’t know this but basically they take the best of the best sperm to shoot up there.  Cool.  Science!  Also, we don’t know what other factors (if any) are keeping me from getting pregnant at this time.  We plan to be more informed if we do decide to do IUI (see next paragraph).

So, we decided on a July fertility test session for me.  I’m hoping that we don’t need the tests, but I feel better knowing they are on the horizon if things don’t go according to our plans.

In addition, I’ve ordered some essential oils (they haven’t arrived yet), so I’m going to give that a go and hope it doesn’t make a mess of my clothes or sheets.  I’d appreciate any first hand knowledge of essential oils if anyone out there has it.

I’ve added a daily glass of grapefruit juice to my follicular phase.  Let’s hope this causes me to swim in EWCM.  Haven’t seen that since I was much younger.

Aside from AF being here, I am feeling okay.  I am eager to get started this cycle and see what my cycle looks like this time around.  I am back to temping at 5:15AM as 6:30AM just did not work for me at all.
