Today I’d like to thank the country of Australia! I had a ton of views come from there today, so thanks Aussies! I hope you’re enjoying my witticism! Or sarcasm whichever.
Today is Mother’s Day in Japan. Flower shops everywhere are overstocked with baskets and bouquets. It made buying my friend a birthday bouquet on Friday rather difficult. I’m mostly ignoring it as I’m only 9DPO.
Today a weird thing happened. I had difficulty putting on my wedding rings. My fingers had swollen up into little sausages. I’ve never had PMS bloating before, so I consulted my friendly neighborhood internet. Chicks can you believe this shit? Pregnancy and PMS share a ton of the same symptoms!
To help you determine if you are PG or PMSing, I’ve developed a little quiz. Answer yes or no to the following questions.
- Are you bloated?
- Do you have cramps?
- Are you moody? Feel like crying?
- Are your boobs tender or swollen?
- Are you tired? Like super tired?
- Got some food cravings?
- Have you had some spotting?
If you answered yes to most of these questions, then congrats! You are probably either pregnant or about to start your period! If you answered no to most these questions, why are you taking this quiz?
The bottom line is the internet couldn’t help determine if I was PG but they did have some tips to decrease bloating/swelling. First, eat a banana. Easy enough if I hadn’t just pigged out at lunch. Probiotics! Okay, I have a probiotic drink, so I’m all over that. Do some hand exercises and elevate, elevate, elevate! Would you believe those last two helped me get the rings off. I’m not sure what happened with the swelling. It has decreased a bit, but due to the air pollution that’s drifted over here from China (thanks China), I’m left with a nasty headache as we were at the farmer’s market this afternoon. Now back home and clean with less swelling, I’ve locked myself inside, and I’m going to try to catch up on TV. Poor Prince Endymion has to do some work from home but since he fell asleep while doing that yesterday, he’s opted for working at a cafe. This is my Mother’s Day. I don’t want to hear anymore about this day, thanks.
