Well, it’s been 3 days. Three nights to be more specific. Three nights without Mamoru in bed. It’s Saturday, but he’s working tonight so let’s see if we can set a new record. The previous record was 3 (set just last night). I’m trying to be sarcastic about this because it’s my best defense. I am quite angry and disappointed. This morning practically everything Mamoru did pissed me off, and I let him know that too.
After breakfast we rode our bikes (30 minutes exercise) to a nearby park to take pictures of the plum blossoms which are in full bloom right now. They look a little different than cherry blossoms.
They are so beautiful and after walking around (1 hour exercise) and taking about a hundred pictures, I felt better. I still think it sucks that Mamoru doesn’t want to sleep in our bed, but nothing like looking at tons of pretty flowers to make your life suck less.
On the low carb front I’m doing great so far! I’ve been all over the internet, I’ve found recipes, and I’ve been shopping. It’s actually not very difficult at all. Truthfully, I feel a lot better. In fact, before I was getting sick to my stomach around three times a week. I’ve hardly been sick to my stomach at all (down to once a week) since I stopped carbs which makes me wonder if I have a gluten intolerance. Well, if that’s the case, it’s no problem now. I’m not saying “I’m on a diet.” I’m not saying “I can’t eat that” (FYI I’m saying “don’t”). I’m trying to establish habits (lifestyle changes) and not just doing a quick fix. I hope all this works. Fingers crossed!
